Immigration
We know how complex, confusing and intimidating it is obtaining an Immigrant Visa based on Employment or Investment. SBS Management has partnered with different immigration attorneys so you can get the assistance you need. The logistics involved with immigration, obtaining an Investment Visa, working permits or petitioning can be overwhelming for all but those who have extensive experience in these areas of law.

U. S. immigration law offers many opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs to enter the county either temporarily or even permanently for the purpose of investing in enterprises supporting the U.S. economy. The number of investor visas granted in a year are limited, and competition is stiff, so it is advisable to have an experienced immigration attorney to advise you and assist you with the application process.

Investment Visas

Visas
E-2 Visa:
  • Investment: Minimum Investment recommended: $100,000 in your own business in the USA in order to qualify for the E2 Visa.
  • Job Creation: Your business in the USA has 1 year to be able to create at least 3 jobs for US workers.
E-1 Visa:
  • Mexican Citizens: You may qualify for the E-1 Visa if your business buys American products and sells them in Mexico, or viceversa. Your business should have imported or exported a minimum of $100,000 dollars worth of USA / MEXICO products during the last 12 months.
EB-5 Visa:
  • If you have money to invest in either a new commercial enterprise or a troubled business, you may be able to obtain a Green Card for lawful permanent residence through the EB-5 employment-based preference category. Generally speaking, you must invest at least $1,000,000, or $500,000 if the location of the business is in an area of exceptionally high unemployment or in a targeted rural area. The investment must also either create or maintain a certain number of jobs, and there are requirements regarding the level of involvement which the investor must have in the day-to-day management of the enterprise. Investing in a business located inside a designated Regional Center is another option for the EB-5 immigrant investor.

Working Visa

Acquiring an immigrant visa requires understanding which preference category you belong to and providing the appropriate evidence and documentation to support the particular application. We match employers with employees in all of the following employment-based categories:
  • EB-1a: Priority for workers of extraordinary ability
  • EB-1b: Priority for outstanding researchers and professors
  • EB-2: Professionals with advanced degrees or exceptional ability
  • EB-3: Skilled workers, professionals and unskilled workers
  • EB-4: Religious workers and other special immigrants
  • EB-5: Immigrant investors creating jobs
